Amanda Huston is a 2016 graduate of the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.
She holds an MA in Communication Studies from the University of Northern Colorado and holds a BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado. She also pursued extended study in both Spanish and Graphic Design.
Prior to attending law school, Amanda worked with the Greeley Downtown Development Authority, providing support in the administration, marketing, and implementation of revitalization projects in the downtown district. While earning her MA, she served as an assistant instructor at the University of Northern Colorado, teaching Public Speaking and First Year Experience courses.
In addition to serving as a contributor to The Race to the Bottom, Amanda also serves in the Civil Litigation Clinic and as an Articles Editor on the Denver University Law Review. She plans to pursue a certificate in the Corporate and Commercial Law Program.
Outside of law school, Amanda is involved in multiple social justice initiatives. She currently serves as the Northern Colorado Director of a local non-profit dedicated to providing support to women in the sex industry. Amanda enjoys outdoor adventures, racquetball, writing, and travel.
