Armin K. Sarabi

 

Armin is one of the co-founders of "The Race to the Bottom," and retired Managing Editor.  He is also the co-founder and retired Vice President of the Denver Law Corporate Governance Society. He completed his undergraduate study at the University of Maryland, where he received a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.A. in Psychology. He is currently a J.D. candidate at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.

In Spring of 2007 Armin interned with DCP Midstream (formerly Duke Energy), where he assisted the in-house corporate counsel on a range of governance issues - including executive compensation reportings.  In Summer of 2007 he was employed as a summer associate at the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, P.C. where , among other things, he assisted the corporate department on a variety of business transactions.  Armin is currently employed with Corpedia, a compliance consulting firm, where he works with the legal research & development group.  Armin spent the summer of 2008 working as a summer associate at the law firm of Holland & Hart LLP, and has formally accepted an offer of employment from Holland & Hart upon graduation in 2009. 

His academic interests include: securities law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, general corporate law, comparative corporate law, antitrust and finance.
