Ashley Kincaid Lloyd

Ashley Kincaid Lloyd is a third-year law student at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. 

Prior to law school, Ashley earned her B.A. with a double major in both Philosophy and Religious Studies, and then her B.A. Honours degree in Philosophy from Victoria University of Wellington, in New Zealand. 

Ashley is the Business Editor on the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy, and the Technology Editor on the corporations and securities blog, Ashley currently works as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Anderson’s Lawyering Process course. She is a member of the Sturm College of Law's FDI Moot Court Team and Sturm College of Law's Mediation Team. Ashley is also the VP of Marketing for the Business Law Society and the American Bar Association Representative to the Student Bar Association. 

During the summer after her 1L year, Ashley was a Law Clerk for Goodspeed & Merrill, where she learned how to draft and redline documents and contract clauses, conduct effective due diligence, and utilize multiple research platforms. 

Ashley is pursuing a Corporate and Commercial Law Certificate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, with a concentration in International Law in addition to her J.D. In the legal field, Ashley is predominately interested in business and commercial transactions, international business transactions, alternative dispute resolution, securities, and contracts.
