David Rodman
David Rodman is a third year law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and the Articles Editor for the Race to the Bottom. David grew up in Aspen, Colorado and earned his undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern History at Tufts University.
Before attending law school, David worked at Merrill Lynch in the Global Markets and Investment Banking Group. During his time at Merrill, he initiated and oversaw the complete overhaul of his department and developed his own computer program that eventually supplanted the original in-house system. The program saved Merrill $3.7 billion in collateral exposure on its first day in operation.
David was a summer associate at Robinson, Waters and O’Dorsio during the summer of 2012. He is interested in corporate and securities, construction defect, and entertainment law.
Growing up David was a member of the US Snowboard team and, while he no longer competes, his love affair with the sport has never ended. He is also an avid surfer and sailor.
