Jeremy Liles is a fourth-year evening law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He was a contributor to The Race to the Bottom in 2010-11, served as the Technology Editor in 2011-12, and is once again serving as a student contributor to the blog. He also served as the Online Editor for the Denver University Law Review from 2012-13.
A native of Michigan, Jeremy has a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master’s in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from New York University, and a Master’s in Business Administration (corporate finance and entrepreneurship) from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Jeremy has worked for fifteen years in consulting and management roles at technology firms, predominantly providers of financial services solutions. He is currently the Director of Software Infrastructure at Innovest Systems, LLC, a provider of wealth management and trust accounting software.
Jeremy’s academic interests include corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law, as well as all facets of the law related to entrepreneurship, technology, and business. He enjoys skiing, hiking, trail-running, reading and writing fiction, and tinkering with web-related projects.
