Joseph Aguilar
Joseph has an undergraduate degree from the University of California- Los Angeles in History and Political Science. He is currently a third year student at the University of Denver- Sturm College of Law and serves as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of this blog.
Prior to coming to law school, Joseph worked as a high-end concierge at a private home development and country club. During the summer of 2008, Joseph interned in Qwest Communications’ legal department. There he worked on projects including complex joint ventures and affirmative defenses in employment discrimination claims. This past summer Joseph worked at the Phoenix, Arizona law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy as a summer associate, working on various commercial litigation matters including bankruptcy, product liability, and breach of contract claims. This fall he will intern with the Denver office of the Securities and Exchange Commission. His work will include both the litigation and investigation matters.
Joseph’s academic interests include corporate, bankruptcy, securities, real estate, natural resource, and alternative dispute resolution.
