Leah Jensen

Leah is a third year law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she was recently promoted to General Editor of the Denver University Law Review.  

Prior to law school Leah graduated (in 3 years) from the University of Utah with a BA in English. Her studies included stints in Scotland and Japan, (8 years of Japanese in high school). Before law school, Leah worked at Utah Business Magazine (progressing from part-time intern to Assistant Editor) and then at McCann Erickson, a worldwide advertising agency where she worked on “go-to-market” strategies for high-tech clients including Microsoft.

After her first year of law school Leah interned for a Judge in the Seventeenth Judicial District. This past summer Leah worked for a Corporate Governance firm in Salt Lake City, where she focused on conflict of interest transactions, drafting shareholder agreements, stock purchase agreements and researching the history and reputation of Reg S offerings. Leah also worked for a medium size firm in Salt Lake City where she prepared motions and legal memoranda on several bankruptcy and real estate cases.  

Leah's academic interests include corporate, securities and copyright law.
