Mathew Shechter

Matt received his undergraduate degree from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, earning a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He is currently in his second year pursuing a J.D. at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.

Prior to law school, Matt worked as a litigation project assistant at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Washington, DC, and Snell & Wilmer LLP in Denver, Colorado. During law school, Matt has served as a research assistant to Professor Ann Scales.

During his first year in law school, Matt earned a scholastic excellence award in Torts. His primary academic interests are in business organization and management, secured transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and employment.
