Matthew Pangborn

 

Matthew is a student cofounder of this blog. Matthew holds B.S. degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of South Carolina where he was President of the Financial Management Association. He is currently working on JD, LLM, and MBA degrees from the University of Denver with a specialty in taxation and finance. He holds Series 66, and Series 7 securities licenses.

Currently, he is a Vice President in the Investment Banking division of Janco Partners, where he works on M&A transactions involving mid to large cap companies in the media, telecommunication and renewable energy sectors.

Prior to coming to Denver, Matthew worked in Investment Banking and Money Management in Southern California for five years. In addition to contributing to this site, he is also President and cofounder of the DU Corporate Governance Society.

Awards: Student Leadership Award for Most Innovative Program Implemented Outside of the Law School Community.
