Michael Burleigh

Michael Burleigh is a third-year law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and the Tech Editor of the Race To the Bottom.  Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 2005.  

After graduation he worked for four years as an engineer in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Boulder, Colorado.  Michael is interested in Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law.  He has interned in with in-house counsel at CH2M Hill and is currently working as a Patent Agent for a large Denver-area firm.

Michael was born and raised in Telluride, Colorado and discovered a passion for mountain sports at an early age.  Michael is currently a member of both the Road and the Mountain cycling race teams at the University of Denver.
