Michael Shumate

Michael is a third year law student and a new contributor to the blog.  He is a Colorado native, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Organization and Innovation Management from Colorado State University in 2010.

During the summer of 2011, he interned at the Denver Law Office of the Union Pacific Railroad Company. As an intern, he participated in a diverse range of litigation, primarily stemming from contractual disputes.

He recently completed an internship with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in the Office of Consumer Counsel.

Michael is an avid skier, SCUBA diver, reader, and traveler.
