Michelle Larson-Krieg earned her B.A. from Mankato State University, where she majored in International Relations and Spanish, and minored in Economics and French.  She holds an M.A. in International Economic Policy from The American University.  Ms. Larson-Krieg is currently a third-year law student at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.

As an employee of CoBank’s International Banking Group, Larson-Krieg assessed the political and socio-economic risk of borrower countries.  She later worked in the wireless telecommunications industry, and was the Regulatory Manager for Sprint’s Southeast RF Engineering Group.  While with Sprint, she co-lead the national redesign of the RF Engineering performance management system.  

From 2003 to 2006, Larson-Krieg held positions of increasing responsibility with International Student and Scholar Services departments at CU-Boulder and the University of Colorado at Denver & Health Sciences Center.  As Assistant Director for Scholar Services, she managed a heavy caseload of employment-based immigration petitions for international researchers, faculty, and health-care providers.  

Larson-Krieg is currently employed by the National Conference of State Legislatures, where she is responsible for research on labor, employment, and broadband issues of interest to state legislators.
