Philip Nickerson

Philip Nickerson is in his final year of a 4-year JD/MBA degree at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and Daniels College of Business. He is a graduate of Baylor University where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Sports Sponsorship and Sales. Before attending law school Philip spent time working for Monumental Sports and Entertainment in Washington, D.C. and as a licensed Realtor® in the Central Texas region. Philip has specific interest in a commercial litigation practice.

Philip’s legal internship experience include Summer Law clerk at Postacioglu Law Office, an Istanbul based international law firm; Law Clerk at HealthTrio, LLC, a Denver based health IT company; Legal Intern at the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in the Business and Licensing Section; Summer Law Clerk at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP in their Denver office’s antitrust and competition law group; and Judicial Intern for Hon. Christine M. Arguello in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.

Philip has made it a point to stay involved at Sturm. In addition to contributing to The Race to the Bottom, Philip is serving as Senior Staff Editor on the Denver Law Review, Captain of the Jessup International Moot Court Team, and mentor on Judge Aguello’s Law School Si Se Puede Dream Team. Previously, Philip served as Managing and Production Editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy.
