Robert S. Anderson

Robert Anderson is a Lawyering Process professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of the Law, teaching legal research and writing to first year students.

Robert’s teaching is animated by seven years of experience as a trial attorney, and a clerkship with the Colorado Court of Appeals. As an attorney with Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor & Pascoe, P.C., Robert managed litigation matters from commencement through trial and appeal in the areas of real estate, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy, contracts, and general commercial disputes. At Chrisman Bynum & Johnson, Robert litigated cases to and through trial at the Colorado district court level, as well as in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.

Robert has served on the Colorado Bar Association’s Litigation Section Council, the executive board for the section of the Bar Association that represents all Colorado trial lawyers and litigators.  Robert also served as vice-chair of the Litigation Section’s Appellate Practice subcommittee. Robert lives in Denver with his wife and their two sons.
