Scott James
Scott received his undergraduate degree in Business Management and Organizations from The University of Iowa. He also studied Spanish and International Business while at Iowa. During the summer of 2006 Scott interned for Roomates Sevilla, a small property rental company in Sevilla, Spain. Scott is a second year law student at the Sturm College of Law.
Currently, Scott is a Case Editor for Race to the Bottom, and continues to work on various corporate governance issues as a Research Assistant for Professor J. Robert Brown. Scott is also a Staff Editor for the Transportation Law Journal.
Scott played hockey in high school as a forward on a team that, in his senior year, made it to the state championship. He traveled with the team to Scandinavia, where he scored a goal in the first game in Sweden.
Academic Interests: Corporate governance, securities Law, M&A/private equity, general corporate law, and real estate transactions.
