Becky grew up as a Michigander, transformed into a Californian, and is learning the ropes of becoming a Coloradan. Becky moved to Denver after spending 9 years in the Bay Area, where she attended middle school, high school, and college. In December 2015, Becky graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Media Studies.

Through her experiences in the Bay Area, Becky created extensive roots and relationships in fitness, sports, and higher-education. These experiences led Becky to specialize in corporate partnerships, where she finds fulfillment in creating impactful and mutually beneficial partnerships. Becky strives to build an innovative legal career around social enterprise and public-private partnerships.

Becky believes that being a leader means zealously serving your local community. After realizing a gap for venture law opportunities at DU, Becky and two law student colleagues co-founded the Venture Law Society at Sturm College of Law —connecting entrepreneurs, law students, and venture attorneys in Denver, where she currently serves at the student organization President. Becky is a program volunteer with middle school girls at Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. Becky is a fellow at the Barton Institute for Philanthropy and Social Enterprise.

In addition to her legal trajectory, Becky has an immense passion for fitness. She started the Sweat Denver bootcamp at Wash Park. Becky lives for meeting new people, quality time with her pup (Holly) and partner (Alex), challenging workouts, spontaneous travel, camping, and good coffee.
