Before law school, Dawit attend Colorado State University where he received his undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Sociology. Dawit also studied abroad with Semester at Sea where he visited fifteen countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America.

In addition to serving as a contributor to the Race to the Bottom blog, Dawit is also part of the Black Law Student Association and serves as a student ambassador for BARBRI at the law school. Dawit is interested in areas of corporate law, with specific interests in M&A, corporate governance, and employment law.

Outside of law school, Dawit enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Colorado’s great outdoors, and watching sports.
