Alexis is a current third-year student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She is pursuing her J.D. and a certificate in the Corporate and Commercial Law Program. She is from Tennessee and graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Analytics.

Alexis is interested in corporate law, with a special interest in secured transactions, bankruptcy, and tax law. During law school, she has participated in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and the ABA Law Student Tax Challenge. In addition to contributing to the blog, she is a research assistant for two professors at Sturm Law, and she helps research various issues related to corporate law and bankruptcy.

Outside of law school, Alexis enjoys hiking, climbing, traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with her friends.
